This offer allows members to earn IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status by staying eight qualifying nights at participating IHG Hotels & Resorts during the promotion period, which runs from February 15th, 2023, to March 31st, 2023. In order to be eligible for this offer, members must be invited to participate and register their member number in advance.
To qualify as a qualifying night under this promotion, the room night must be part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay and must fall within the promotion period. Stays completed before registration or outside of the promotion period will not be included. For example, if a member registers for the promotion on February 16th, 2023, and has a qualifying stay with a check-in date of February 13th, 2023, and a check-out date of February 18th, 2023, they will be credited with three qualifying nights for the 15th, 16th, and 17th of February. The member will not receive credit for the nights of February 13th or 14th, as they were prior to the promotion period.
A Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay is defined as a minimum one-night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a room rate exceeding $30 USD (or the local equivalent) for each night. Participating hotels include all IHG Hotels & Resorts and Mr and Mrs Smith Properties, with the exception of Iberostar Beachfront Resorts and certain Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas that do not participate in IHG One Rewards. Stays booked using Reward Nights or Points & Cash are not eligible for this promotion. Bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify. Members should contact the hotel directly to confirm if a specific Six Senses hotel is participating in this promotion.
The Gold Elite status and Platinum Elite status awarded under this promotion will be reflected in the member’s IHG One Rewards account after completing the required number of qualifying nights. Once a member receives a Diamond Elite status upgrade through this promotion, they will retain this status through the end of 2024. Any Elite status for the 2025 calendar year and beyond must be earned according to the IHG One Rewards Club Membership Terms and Conditions or through a special promotional offering.
Participation in the IHG One Rewards program and this promotion are subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, which can be found on the IHG website. IHG has the right to retract Diamond Elite status granted under this promotion and withdraw any associated points if the status was awarded in error or if the member was not eligible to participate. IHG also reserves the right to remove a member’s points, downgrade their status, or suspend or cancel their account if fraudulent use of the promotion is detected. Any prohibited activity relating to a member’s account or participation in the IHG One Rewards program or this promotion is subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions.
IHG reserves the right to interpret the promotion and to cancel, terminate, suspend, and/or modify it, as allowed by applicable law.
