Qantas A380 premium economy class flight review: Is it worth it?

the premium economy seat on Qantas?
Once on board the Airbus A380, I made my way to my seat in the premium economy cabin. The seats are arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration, with a total of 371 seats in the cabin. The cabin has a sleek and stylish design, with sharp finishes that give it a modern and premium feel.

The seat itself is comfortable, with a generous amount of padding and decent recline. The legroom, however, is quite limited, especially for taller passengers. I’m 6 feet tall and found that my knees were touching the seat in front of me, making it a bit uncomfortable for a long-haul flight. The seat width is also a bit narrow, but not uncomfortable.

The seat features a footrest and a leg rest, which are nice additions for added comfort. There is also a small storage compartment for personal items, as well as a USB port and power outlet for charging devices.

The entertainment system is located in the seatback in front of you and features a good selection of movies, TV shows, and music. The screen is a decent size and the picture quality is clear. However, one major drawback is the lack of inflight Wi-Fi, which is not available on Qantas premium economy flights. This can be a disappointment for those who rely on staying connected during their flights.

The service on board was excellent, with friendly and attentive flight attendants who were always ready to assist. The meal service was a highlight, with delicious Australian-inspired dining options. I had the choice of a beef dish or a vegetarian option, both of which were tasty and well-presented. The drink selection was also good, with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available.

Overall, despite the limited legroom and lack of inflight Wi-Fi, the Qantas premium economy experience was a step up from economy. The friendly service, great food, and sleek cabin design make for a comfortable and enjoyable flight. However, if you are taller or require more legroom, you may want to consider upgrading to business class for a more comfortable experience.
