Get $60 back on select Marriott Bonvoy stays with this targeted offer (Amex business cards)

American Express has recently launched two targeted offers for Marriott Bonvoy spending, with this particular offer being targeted towards Amex business cards. Cardholders can now enjoy a 20% rebate on Marriott purchases, up to a maximum of $60 back. This offer is valid for purchases made on room rates and room charges at participating Marriott Bonvoy properties in the US, US territories, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean from January 12, 2024, to March 31, 2024.

To take advantage of this offer, cardholders must first add the offer to their card and then use the same card to redeem it. Reservations can be made online at Marriott.com, via the Marriott Bonvoy App, or by calling 1-888-236-2427. However, it’s important to note that certain properties are excluded from this offer, such as Marriott Vacation Club, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Design Hotels, Protea Hotels, Marriott Executive Apartments, Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, Vistana Signature Network, and Vistana Residence Network. Additionally, gift card purchases, online retail purchases, hotel amenities, and purchases of Marriott Bonvoy points are also not eligible for this offer.

It’s worth mentioning that the offer is not limited to a single transaction, so cardholders can enjoy the rebate on multiple stays as long as the total spending reaches at least $300. The statement credit will appear on the billing statement within 90 days after March 31, 2024, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about the qualifying purchase. Each cardholder is limited to a total of $60 in statement credits, and only one statement credit can be received per card member.

This targeted offer for Amex business cardholders is slightly weaker compared to the offer for consumer cards, where the maximum rebate available is $120. Nevertheless, a $60 saving is still a valuable benefit. Cardholders with cards like The Blue Business Plus Credit Card from American Express, which earns 2 points per dollar on the first $50,000 of spending every year, or the Marriott Bonvoy Business Card from American Express, which earns 6 Bonvoy points per dollar, can make the most of this targeted offer.

The good news is that there is a wide range of participating Bonvoy properties in North America and the Caribbean, providing ample opportunity to utilize this offer. While it would have been ideal for the offer to extend worldwide, Amex typically limits its offers geographically. However, the broad scope of this offer still provides significant value to eligible cardholders.

In conclusion, American Express has introduced a new targeted offer for Amex business cardholders, allowing them to enjoy a 20% rebate on Marriott spending, up to $60 back. This offer is applicable to select Marriott brands in North America, the US Territories, Mexico, and the Caribbean and will be visible in the online accounts of targeted cardholders. With such attractive benefits, cardholders should take advantage of this offer before it expires at the end of March.
