Changi Airport Singapore offering up to SGD 20 for passengers travelling to/via Singapore (originating in India)

Changi Airport in Singapore is renowned as one of the best airports in the world, offering top-notch facilities and services to travelers. To further enhance its appeal, the airport has introduced a new promotion specifically targeted at its Indian clientele. Starting from February 12, 2024, passengers originating from India and traveling to or transiting via Singapore can avail themselves of e-vouchers worth up to SGD 20.

The promotion, known as the Shop and Dine campaign, will run until December 31, 2024. It is applicable to passengers traveling from any of the seventeen Indian cities directly connected to Changi Airport by seven partner airlines. These cities include Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Madurai, Mumbai, Pune, Tiruchirappalli, Thiruvananthapuram, and Visakhapatnam.

Under the offer, passengers can receive an SGD 10 e-voucher for a round trip to Singapore and an SGD 20 e-voucher for a return transit flight. For example, a Delhi-Singapore-Delhi round-trip itinerary is eligible for one SGD 10 Changi Rewards (CR) e-Voucher. Similarly, a Delhi-Singapore-Pune itinerary is also eligible for one SGD 10 CR e-Voucher. However, one-way itineraries from Delhi to Singapore or vice versa are not eligible for the vouchers.

Regarding transit passengers, those transiting through Changi Airport on a one-way trip must have India as their origin to be eligible for the SGD 10 CR e-Voucher. For instance, a Delhi-Singapore-Sydney itinerary is eligible for one SGD 10 CR e-Voucher, but a Sydney-Singapore-Delhi one-way itinerary is not eligible.

Passengers transiting through Changi Airport on a two-way trip, with India as the point of origin and end destination, are eligible for two SGD 10 CR e-Vouchers, one for the outbound leg and one for the inbound leg.

To qualify for the e-vouchers, passengers must fulfill certain conditions. The point of origin for booking itineraries must be India, and flights between Singapore (SIN) and India must be direct. Passengers must complete their journey between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024. For transit passengers, at least one transit flight must have a layover within 24 hours.

Passengers with flights issued over multiple booking reference numbers need to submit just one form for their entire trip, attaching all booking confirmations or e-tickets. Only passengers above two years old are eligible for the vouchers. The collection form for the e-vouchers must be submitted online at least three days before departure from India. Family members or traveling companions of eligible passengers between the ages of two and sixteen can collect the e-vouchers on their behalf.

Changi Airport has made the process of collecting the vouchers more convenient. Instead of physical vouchers, the airport now credits the e-vouchers to the passenger’s Changi Rewards account. The vouchers are credited on the day of the passenger’s arrival or transit through Singapore, allowing them to use them immediately upon arrival or on their return journey. Passengers can also collect the vouchers on behalf of their traveling party.

It’s important to note that the Changi e-Vouchers will expire by the end of the following month from the eligible passenger’s first arrival in Singapore.

In conclusion, Changi Airport’s promotion for Indian passengers in 2024 offers up to SGD 20 in e-vouchers for trips to or through Singapore originating in India. The vouchers can be used at various shops within Changi Airport. Passengers should make sure to collect the vouchers and utilize them during their trip to or via Changi Airport.
