At the end of last year, I highlighted some incredible limited-time offers that Chase was running on their business credit cards. These offers included the opportunity to earn 90,000 points or $900 cash back on the Chase Ink Unlimited and the Chase Ink Cash cards. Additionally, there was a welcome bonus offer of 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points on the Ink Business Preferred card. While the limited-time offers on the Ink Business and Ink Cash cards have expired, the 100,000 points offer on the Ink Business Preferred card is still available.

Chase has not provided an official end date for this offer, so it could be withdrawn at any time. The Ink Business Preferred card is currently offering a sign-up bonus of 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points after spending $8,000 in the first 3 months after approval. Chase’s Ultimate Rewards points are highly valuable and can be redeemed at a flat value of 1.25 cents per point, or transferred to Chase’s airline and hotel partners for potentially even greater value. This makes the sign-up bonus worth at least $1,250, and potentially up to $2,000 if used strategically.

I strongly believe in not only signing up for credit cards to earn the sign-up bonus, but also keeping them for their ongoing benefits. The Ink Business Preferred Credit Card by Chase offers valuable spending categories that allow cardholders to earn points quickly. With this card, you can earn 3 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar spent on travel, shipping, internet, cable and phone services, and advertising purchases made with social media sites and search engines.

Even when you’re not traveling, you can still earn points by putting your monthly cable, phone, and internet bills on this card. For example, with a monthly bill of around $200 in this category, you could earn a total of 7,200 Ultimate Rewards points each year just by using this card for your bills.

When it comes to redeeming points with the Ink Business Preferred card, you have several lucrative options. You can redeem points for 1.25 cents each by purchasing travel through Chase’s portal. Alternatively, you can transfer points to Chase’s travel partners at a 1:1 ratio, potentially increasing their value even further. Some of Chase’s airline partners include Aer Lingus, Air Canada, British Airways, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United, among others. Hotel partners include IHG, Marriott, and Hyatt, which I personally have found to offer great value when redeeming points.

In addition to these redemption options, the card also offers valuable benefits such as purchase protection, extended warranty protection, car rental insurance, roadside assistance, and trip delay/cancellation insurance. These benefits can be extremely useful and add further value to the card.

It’s important to note that the Ink Business Preferred card is subject to Chase’s 5/24 rule, which means that you may not be approved if you have opened five or more consumer credit cards from any issuer in the last 24 months. However, since this is a business credit card, it will not count towards your 5/24 limit once approved.

The annual fee for the Ink Business Preferred card is $95, but this can easily be recouped by earning points on your monthly bills and taking advantage of the card’s valuable benefits. You do not need to have a full-fledged business to apply for this card; if you have any consulting gig or run a part-time business on the side, you can apply as a sole proprietor.

In conclusion, the Ink Business Preferred Credit Card by Chase is a fantastic card for those looking to maximize their miles and points earnings. With a generous sign-up bonus of 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points, valuable spending categories, and a range of redemption options, this card offers great value for frequent travelers and points enthusiasts.
